GPT-6 Astra just beat all 48 levels of 'I'm Not a Robot'
OpenAI's new model cleared every level of Neal Agarwal's CAPTCHA game. Impressive computer use, but the viral clip doesn't mean CAPTCHAs are dead.
GPT-6 Astra has cleared all 48 levels of Neal Agarwal's "I'm Not a Robot", a browser game built entirely around proving you're human. OpenAI engineer Sharif Shameem posted the run on X on September 7, four days after Astra launched, and the model finished with a "Human Verification" result.
The game begins with a single checkbox and gets harder fast. Later levels include warped text, cookie-or-dog image grids, reversed rules, rhythm games, drawing tasks, parking a car and playing chess. Astra did all of it by reading the screen and acting on it, which is the computer-use skill OpenAI pushed hardest at launch. The company says Astra scores 72.6% on OSWorld 2.0, up from 65.7% for GPT-5.6 Sol, and finishes simulated tasks in about 47% less time.
The clip needs some context. OpenAI hasn't published the prompt, the harness, how many attempts it took, or whether a human stepped in off-camera. The game is also public, with walkthroughs online. And it isn't how real bot defense works: production systems score behavior and risk signals, and the visible puzzle is only one layer.
Why it matters: once agents can click through anything built for humans, a puzzle alone can't tell people from bots.
