Grok Now Lives Inside Telegram's Compose Field

Telegram's Grok AI integration — a $300M deal with xAI — is now fully live for Premium subscribers, embedding an AI writing layer directly into the compose field. Highlight text, pick a tone, and Grok rewrites it before you hit send. Translation and grammar polish work the same way, zero app-switching required.

The rollout bundles broader platform upgrades: polls now support images and custom answer settings, bots can spawn and manage other bots, Stories gained Live Photo and music support, and a star-based filter cleans up the gift marketplace. Unofficial or modified clients now get warning banners.

This is Grok's first major distribution play beyond X. With Telegram's 900M+ users, xAI just landed one of the largest AI assistant deployments in consumer messaging — and Telegram gets 50% revenue share from xAI subscriptions sold in-app.
