Anthropic Launches Claude Design — Prototypes From a Prompt
Claude Design turns text prompts into UI prototypes, slides, and one-pagers — no Figma skills required.

Claude Design is Anthropic's new product that converts text prompts into UI prototypes, presentation decks, and one-pagers — no design background required. Powered by Claude Opus 4.7, it's currently in research preview for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers.
The tool reads your team's codebase and design files to apply your existing design system automatically across every project. Outputs export as PDF, URL, PPTX, or straight to Canva for collaborative editing. Anthropic calls it a complement to design tools — but markets weren't convinced: Figma dropped ~6%, Wix fell ~5%, and Adobe slid ~2.7% on the news.
The target user is the founder or PM who needs to go from idea to something shareable fast, without waiting on a designer.
Why it matters: Claude Design puts professional-grade prototyping in non-designers' hands — the design-tool moat just got a lot narrower.
