Methodology
LLMBytes is an AI-assisted, source-first publication. It is run by Cybiqon, an independent software company in India. The articles are written by an automated pipeline; this page says exactly what that pipeline does and where it can be wrong.
1. Finding stories
Stories start as leads: posts from AI-focused channels and feeds that we monitor. A lead is never treated as a source. It only tells the pipeline that something may have happened.
2. Research and sourcing
For each lead the pipeline searches the web and opens the pages it finds: the original announcement, paper or repository, and independent coverage. Since October 2026 an article is not published unless it cites at least two different sources, and an article that says it could not verify its own claims is held back instead of published. Articles written before that rule can still have a single source. They are marked, and ones with no real source are kept out of search engines.
3. Writing
A large language model writes the article from the pages it read. Each source is listed at the bottom of the article, split into primary (the company, paper or repository itself) and independent coverage. The model is instructed to leave out any claim it cannot confirm.
4. Daily products
- Deep-dive: one longer article a day on the biggest story, with sources.
- Bytes: a daily digest. The pipeline checks that every item's date was confirmed by opening its page, and refuses to publish a digest with too few verified items, so some days have none.
- Firsts: a timeline of AI milestones that is curated by hand, each entry with a source.
- Models: prices and capabilities synced weekly from OpenRouter's public model catalogue, and shown as listed there.
5. What the AI does not do
No human edits an article before it goes out. That is the main limitation: a model can misread a source, mix up a number or state something with more confidence than the evidence supports. Treat our articles as a well-sourced starting point and check the linked sources for anything that matters to a decision.
6. Corrections
Errors are fixed or removed when reported. See Corrections for how to report one.
7. Independence and advertising
Nobody pays for coverage and there is no sponsored content. If display ads appear on the site they are served by an ad network and are labelled as advertisements; they have no influence on what we write. Any sponsored content would be labelled as such.
