Anthropic Ships Opus 4.7 — Plus an AI Design Tool
Claude Opus 4.7 drops alongside a design app that builds websites and presentations from plain English prompts.

Anthropic just launched Claude Opus 4.7, the latest upgrade to its flagship model lineup. The release pairs with a new AI design tool that lets anyone generate websites, landing pages, and presentations via natural language — no design skills needed. Shares of Adobe, Wix, and Figma dropped on the news.
Opus 4.7 builds on Claude Opus 4.6 (February 2026) with stronger multi-step reasoning, longer-duration task handling, and better multi-agent coordination. Anthropic is also integrating Claude into Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and has partnered with Figma to convert AI-generated code into editable design files.
Worth noting: Opus 4.7 is not Anthropic's most powerful model. That title belongs to Claude Mythos, a more capable system kept locked to select security researchers under Project Glasswing — with a planned reveal in May.
Why it matters: Anthropic is moving fast to own the full stack — from frontier reasoning to consumer-grade creation tools — and the Figma/Adobe disruption angle is real.
