GPT-6 lands in ChatGPT, and answers now come with buttons
ChatGPT's new Intelligent UI turns some replies into interactive charts, calculators and diagrams. Paid users got it Oct 7; free users get it Oct 8.

ChatGPT replies don't have to be a wall of text anymore. OpenAI began rolling out GPT-6 with Intelligent UI on Oct 7. It drops interactive charts, diagrams, buttons, forms and small task-specific tools right into the conversation. Examples include a savings calculator, a bill splitter, a bike-parts picker and simple games. These elements appear as the answer generates, and simple questions still get plain text.
The tiers split by model. Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users get GPT-6 Sol first. Free and Go users get GPT-6 Luna starting Oct 8. It works on web and mobile but only in the Chat tab, so Work and Codex models don't change. Enterprise access depends on admin settings, and if the visuals get to be too much you can turn them down. OpenAI also says GPT-6 Instant starts answering questions that need web search 44% sooner than GPT-5.6 Instant.
Alongside the launch, OpenAI expanded its Atlassian deal, bringing GPT-6-family models into Rovo so agents can work with Jira and Confluence context.
Why it matters: the chatbot answer is turning into a small app built for each question, and free users are getting it one day after paying ones.
