Meta's Muse Charm puts an AI agent on your keychain
Meta's Muse Charm is a palm-sized 5G gadget with no camera that talks to its Muse AI agent without a phone. It ships in December, price not announced.
Zuckerberg's "one more thing" at Meta Connect 2026 was a keychain. The Muse Charm is a pocket-sized handheld with its own 5G connection, a small screen showing an animated Muse avatar, and a mic on top. You tap the fingerprint sensor and start talking to Meta's Muse AI agent. You don't unlock a phone or open an app, and you don't need glasses. Zuckerberg calls it a "joyful little device."
The design choice that stands out is that it has no camera, which sets it apart from most rival AI wearables. Meta is pitching it as the fastest way to reach Muse for people who don't wear Ray-Ban or Oakley smart glasses.
It isn't in mass production yet. Zuckerberg admitted Meta has built only a handful, and the finishing materials and internal layout are still being worked out. Even so, Meta says it will ship in December for the holidays. There's no price yet, only an email waitlist.
Why it matters: Meta is betting the AI agent needs its own device that isn't a phone, and a cheap cute one could get that agent to far more people than $300+ glasses can.
