What it does
Velozity calls itself a "multiplayer AI office." Its official site describes a virtual office with floors and cabins. Teammates show presence, walk into a room to talk, and share one workspace for chat, audio and video calls with transcripts, tasks, notes, calendars and files. AI agents sit in the same office. A built-in agent named Speed is included in every office. According to the homepage, it reads email, transcripts and files, captures tasks, researches across team data and sends a morning brief. Teams can also create agents that run on subscriptions they already pay for. The site names Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor CLI, Kimi Code and OpenCode.
The central promise is the approval step. The homepage says "Nothing is sent, paid or signed without you." In the Product Hunt launch discussion, co-founder Ishu Darshan described three steps. An agent drafts, a person approves, requests changes or rejects, and only then does anything go out. A draft that has been changed must be approved again. A feature called Company Brain answers questions from calls and documents and cites its sources. The site also claims more than 100 app integrations, including Slack, Gmail, GitHub, Linear, HubSpot and Jira. For apps without an integration, it says agents use a cloud computer.
The product was previously called Surge. The App Store version history notes the rename to Velozity in November 2025. Its Product Hunt launch as an AI office was on October 7, 2026, where it ranked third of the day.
Who it is for
The homepage names three groups. The first is individual power users running research with several agents. The second is founders covering many roles. The third is teams that want people and agents working from one place. In practice, the product fits small remote teams that now use separate chat, video, task and note-taking apps and want them in one window. It fits especially well when someone on the team already pays for an AI coding or agent subscription and wants teammates to see and approve what the agent produces.
How people use it
A typical job is turning a client call into follow-up work. Based on how the official site and the makers describe the product, it goes like this. First, the account lead and a colleague meet the client in a Velozity call room, and the call is transcribed. Second, when the call ends, the transcript produces tasks that the homepage says are already assigned to the right person or agent. One task might be "send revised quote." Third, the lead opens that task and presses Execute, which starts an agent on it. The agent can pull figures from the transcript and earlier documents, the way the Company Brain example answers a pricing question from a call and a quote document. Fourth, the agent returns a draft email and quote. Fifth, the lead reads it and requests a change, for example a different payment term. The revised draft then needs approval again. Only after the lead approves it does the email go to the client.
For engineering work, co-founder Akash Mandal said on Product Hunt that agents raise pull requests that go through the team's normal review. Routines can also run agents on a schedule.
Pricing
The pricing page was checked on 2026-10-14. The getvelozity.com pricing page only showed the line "Start free, no card required. Upgrade whenever the work asks for more," so the plan details below come from the velozity.ai pricing page. Prices there are in Indian rupees. There are two product lines.
AI Space is for individuals. The free plan includes 15 personal tasks a week (60 a month), 200 minutes of meeting transcription, 7 days of connected-app history, up to 10 tasks created automatically from meetings and chats, and morning and end-of-day briefs. AI Space Pro costs ₹499 per user per month. It adds unlimited personal tasks, 800 transcription minutes, 45 days of app history, a connected calendar and app refreshes every four hours.
Co-Worker is for teams and runs on credits. Co-Worker Free includes 150 credits, which the page describes as "Enough credits for about a week of light use," and Velozity picks the model. Co-Worker Pro costs ₹799 per user per month. It includes 700 credits a month, no session cap, 10 automatic missions a month, model selection, app and calendar connections, and about 7 deep research runs a month. No annual price is listed, and the FAQ entry about billing currency had no answer when checked. If you bring your own agent, your Claude Code, Codex or other plan is a separate cost.
Strengths
The strongest idea is the shared approval model. Agent work happens where the team can see it, and a person approves before anything leaves the space. One Product Hunt commenter said that "nothing leaving the Space without a person saying yes makes a lot of sense." Bringing your own agent subscription avoids paying twice for AI a team already has. The built-in Speed agent means a team can start without any outside AI plan. Each tier has a free plan with no card required, so a team can test the full idea before paying. The makers also told Product Hunt commenters that roles are split into admin, member and guest, and that every agent run is logged.
Limits and things to watch
Independent evidence is thin. Apart from the launch-day Product Hunt thread, which drew 446 votes and 117 comments according to a GitHub-hosted daily digest, there were no hands-on reviews or forum threads to check. The iOS App Store listing shows a 5.0 rating from just 12 ratings, and its only visible review is posted under the developer's own name.
The makers were candid about gaps. When a commenter said not every teammate should see the same files, Darshan replied, "There are no per-file permissions inside a space today." Automatic alerts for overloaded teammates are not built yet, and he wrote that the product is "far from finished." The homepage testimonials quote numbers such as "4X" faster coordination and "$214" saved per user per month. No outside source has verified them. Pricing in rupees with no answered currency question will matter to buyers outside India. Several unrelated products also share the name, including an earlier Velozity user-research tool on Product Hunt, so check which one a review covers.
When to choose something else
Slack is the safer choice when chat is the center of the team's work and mature integrations matter more than agents. Its pricing page, checked the same day from India, lists a free plan and Pro at ₹245.25 per user per month billed yearly. Paid plans include AI summaries and search. Gather is a closer match for the virtual-office feel. Its Essential plan is $12 per member per month and includes presence, drop-in conversations, and AI meeting notes and transcriptions. Choose it when the office matters more than agents. Google Workspace suits teams that need email, documents, storage, video calls and Gemini AI from one established vendor. Its plans start at ₹99 per user per month for Base, and Starter (₹270) adds its Workspace Studio automation tool. It also offers admin depth and file sharing that Velozity does not yet have.
Verdict
Velozity is an ambitious attempt to put a team and its AI agents in the same room, with a person keeping the final say. A small remote team or founder who already pays for an AI agent and is tired of switching between chat, video and task apps can try it on the free plans without much risk. Teams with strict file-level access needs, buyers who need clear pricing in their own currency, and anyone who wants a track record of independent reviews should keep their current setup and check again in a few months.
Alternatives compared
| Tool | Pricing | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Slack | Free plan; Pro ₹245.25 per user/month billed yearly (₹294.75 monthly); Business+ ₹557.10 yearly (₹668.25 monthly); Enterprise+ by quote. These are the rupee prices shown on 2026-10-14. | Choose Slack if chat is the center of your work and you need a mature, widely integrated platform. Its AI features summarize and search, and Velozity's agent office is not needed for that. |
| Gather | Essential $12 per member per month (yearly billing shown as 20% off); Custom plan by quote; 30-day free trial with no card. | Choose Gather if the main goal is a virtual office with presence, drop-in conversations and AI meeting notes, and you don't need agents drafting work. |
| Google Workspace | Base ₹99, Starter ₹270, Standard ₹864 introductory (₹1,080 list) per user/month; Enterprise by quote. These are the rupee prices shown on 2026-10-14. | Choose Google Workspace if you need email, documents, storage, meetings and Gemini AI from one established vendor. It also suits teams that need admin controls and file-level sharing. |
Verdict
Velozity suits small, remote teams and founders who already use AI coding agents and want calls, tasks and agent drafts in one shared place with a human sign-off. Teams that need per-file permissions, settled pricing in their currency or a record of independent reviews should run a free trial alongside their current tools, or wait for the product to mature.
